Certificate of protection against the coronavirus

Protection only needs to be demonstrated for participation in mass events, such as

• sports events,
• cultural events,
• musical, dance events,
• other outdoor events with five hundred or more participants,
• any other event held indoors.

Protection can be proven by:

• the protection certificate issued by the Hungarian authority,
• the Hungarian EESZT application,
• a foreign protection certificate recognized by Hungary,
• the EU Digital COVID Certificate

However, the following events may be attended without the need for proof of protection: state and local government events to be held in the framework of the memorial ceremonies of both the founding of the state and of King St. Stephen, the founder of the state; the FEI Driving European Championship; and the events related to the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress.
